Using Podcasts in the Workplace
Using podcasts in a professional environment, such as a business or organization can bring many advantages to that organization. Podcasting is a very unique way to present any information that a business or organization would like to, such as highlighting new information and perhaps discussing questions or issues that people may have. Organizations all over have competition and using a podcast can be something that sets your organization apart from a competitor's. "Promoting your company and highlighting what sets it apart from others in the same field is key to a business podcast" (Sherber 2013). Businesses would use a podcast to present information to all of their customers and potential customers; Since customers would be in various locations, it will be an easier way to get the appropriate information relayed to the customers. Customers will feel as if they are more "connected" to a business or organization in different situations through podcasts because they are getting direct information from a business and do not have to wait for feedback for anything. The customer satisfaction should increase with the reliability of a podcast which can make a business more successful and unique in many ways.

How to Create a Podcast Video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hrBbczS9I0
The video that was found on YouTube, entitled "How to Create a Podcast," was overall a very good video on the basics of creating a successful podcast. At first, you will see an outlined list of what you will need for a podcast, such as a microphone, a video editing software and a place to submit your podcast to. The video goes into detail about the website http://audacity.sourceforge.net/, which is a free software to record and edit sounds, which becomes very helpful when recording a podcast. Not only does the person recording the video, give instructions on how to download Audacity but they also show you how to do it too, which is very helpful. I feel that this video is very helpful for anyone learning how to create a podcast, especially if you are first beginning and it's very useful that it doesn't just tell you how to do something but it also shows you how to do it.

Blogging in the Workplace
Over the years, blogging has become a more popular way to communicate with others on a particular idea or topic that you can be engaged in and find interesting. People are now found to be engaging in more blogs around the workplace but is that good or bad? Blogging in the workplace can allow you to increase knowledge of a particular topic that you are not familiar with and according to a study done in 2011 at New York University's Stern College of Business, "More employees are likely to have access to the same information and be able to bounce ideas off each other". The creation of new and interesting ideas could perhaps allow more profit to be made throughout the business based upon the ideas created.
Although blogs can allow company growth, it can create some drawbacks as well. One major concern is the lack of face-to-face communication, which is one of the oldest forms of communication. People rely on technology so much today that they could be known as "socially awkward" at later points because of the lack of communication. In a workplace, it is best to still hold meetings to try and build up communication because it is a better way to clearly understand people. Blogs can allow the misinterpretation of ideas, which may create problems further down the road because the blogs may not be a clear manner of sharing ideas and information.

How to Add Images to Your Blog
Images in blog settings allow people to visualize what your microblog is concerning and could allow them to understand it more. However, each website or blog is a bit different when it comes to adding images, so here are some quick tips to explain how to add images to a blog such as this.
At the very top of this screen, you will see things such as the format options for your text (bold, italics, underline, etc.) as well as options to put a link, an image, or a video. The image option is beside of the one that has "link" and looks like a screenshot of perhaps a mountain. When you choose to add an image, you can choose from many options such as a blog, mobile device, or website; however, if you have an image saved on your computer, you will choose the option "choose files" and from there choose the location that your image is saved at (i.e. my computer, my pictures, etc.) Images can be added to enhance your blog and allow people to visualize more.
